Here is a Smith and Wesson model 627-3 double action revolver. It is a pre-lock example from the Performance Center. It is chambered in .357 Magnum with a 4.75 inch barrel.

The frame has a round butt with a matte stainless finish. The cylinder is fluted with an 8 shot capacity. The barrel has a slim full under lug with a removable v-comp. An extra non-comped muzzle is also included. Two grips are included. A Hogue laminate wood and Hogue overmold rubber.

The action functions flawlessly and is spotless. It feels lightly tuned and polished. The bore is bright and shiny.
